Home!

We made it home! Gus is still suffering side effects of radiation, but he is very happy to be home. He is eating too! Its amazing! He has eaten more now than he has in the past 2 years. Thanks to Marinol, Gus’s nausea and vomiting have been curbed and he has an appetite. The Marinol is also helping with pain and headaches too. We are thrilled with this unexpected surprise and hope he continues to be interested in food. We will continue radiation treatments until next Thursday and an MRI next Friday. Depending on MRI results, we will then decide whether or not to continue treatment. I will post more details later, I just wanted to let everyone know that we made it home. Thanks to Suzie Ruddle, BTFC, Amanda Riley Foundation, CURE Childhood Cancer, Mary Bradley, Marisol Pluhar, Jane Porter, Steve Buero, Phil Roness, Meehan’s Public House, Robin and Cash Hackney, The LaRocca Family, Annie Bradley, and Bill Stout for meals, laundry, gifts for Gus, and other help. We are so blessed to have your help and thanks to you we are able to focus on what’s important right now.

xoxo Erin
